This class satisfies the Virginia requirement that all first-year real estate licensees complete 3 hours of Risk Management education prior to license renewal. Learn how to reduce risk for you and your clients by familiarizing yourself with laws and regulations related to real estate. Topics covered include:

  • Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)
  • Antitrust law
  • Environmental concerns related to the Chesapeake Bay Act 
  • Asbestos, radon, lead, mold and other health-related issues in real estate
