Learn how to reduce risk for you and your clients by familiarizing yourself with laws and regulations related to real estate. Topics covered include: 

  • Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) 
  • Antitrust law 
  • Environmental concerns related to the Chesapeake Bay Act  
  • Asbestos, radon, lead, mold and other health-related issues in real estate 

This class satisfies the Virginia requirement that all first-year real estate licensees complete 3 hours of Risk Management education prior to license renewal.
