PLE: 2 hrs Fair Housing and 2 hrs Current Industry Trends 

In this class, you will learn key legal and practical concepts essential to fair housing compliance and Virginia real estate practice, including: 

  • State and federal fair housing laws 
  • Trending and historical discriminatory practices 
  • How to protect yourself from costly fair housing complaints 
  • Recent changes to Virginia law 
  • The Residential Property Disclosure Act 
  • The Resale Disclosure Act 

This session satisfies 4 hours of the mandatory subject credit requirement that all real estate licensees must complete prior to license renewal. Mandatory subject credit hours include Fair Housing (satisfies the NAR Fair Housing requirement) and Legal Updates (including Flood Content).
