In this session, RAR/CVR MLS Legal Counsel Michael Lafayette will review the upcoming changes to septic system inspection requirements in Virginia law, effective July 1, 2025. This session will include an overview of the legal update, how this update will change the CVR MLS Purchase Agreement, and how you can best educate your clients and ensure a smooth transition to the new inspection process. 

Larry J. Giannasi, PG, LPSS, a Principal with GeoEnvironmental Services, Inc. and expert on septic systems, will also provide practical advice on managing transactions involving a septic system and what you can inspect during the inspection process.
