Put the Brent & Legacy Team to Work for You! Darlene has spent her career as a trusted Real Estate Advisor in the Richmond area. She holds a degree in Communication Arts from VCU and holds both a Broker and an Instructor Real Estate License. She has been recognized as a Top Producer by her company and her industry and is a Hall of Fame member in the Founders Club of the Long and Foster Gold Team. She has been recognized at both the local and state level with Realtor of the Year and Sales Associate of the Year awards. She is an annual Honor Society member and has served on numerous committees at the Local, State and National level including the MLS Committee. She is currently certified as a Housing Counselor, A Short Sale Foreclosure Specialist and holds an Earth Advantage Institute Certification as part of the NAR’s Green Designation. As the Director of Long and Foster’s Affordable Homes Division, Darlene oversees development of Affordable Housing Opportunities in Richmond and the surrounding counties. She works closely with non-profits, local housing agencies, and affordable housing developers to provide comprehensive real estate services that increase homeownership opportunities. She has made working hard for home buyers and sellers her focus for over 30 years. Darlene is a lifetime Richmond area resident. She is married to Hank Brent and they have two grown children and eight grandchildren.
