As a Real Estate Broker and business consultant, Colby Kay has established working relationships with people from various backgrounds. Colby arrived in Richmond in 1989 to attend VCU. During his time at VCU, he was involved with community development and interned with the City of Richmond’s Department of Health where he developed community health newsletters and community health fairs for the city and surrounding counties. His interest in community development and housing issues, led him back to VCU, enrolling in the Master’s program in Urban and Regional Planning. Sidelined by a desire to help an associate, Colby agreed to become a business consultant for a new restaurant venture in the revitalized area of Richmond’s Downtown District. As a talented business man with a personal desire to revitalize this area, Colby began his Real Estate career to help people LIVE where they WORK and PLAY in Richmond, “The Rivah City”. Combining his knowledge of families, communities and housing, Colby has developed into a successful Realtor. He is a multi-million dollar producer and was awarded the Distinguished Achievers Diamond and Silver Award by the Richmond Association of REALTORS. With patience and care he advises and educates his clients on the complete selling and buying process.
