Bill Jefferson began his real estate career in 1984. He maintains a Broker’s license with the State of Virginia and has completed many educational requirements over the years. All real estate agents are not Realtors. Bill has been designated a Realtor in good standing with, and adhering to, the Realtor ethical standards of the National, State and Local Associations of Realtors since 1984, never having had a complaint or grievance filed against him. Bill has been awarded the Distinguished Achiever Award from the Richmond Association of Realtors for sales excellence for twenty-three consecutive years. This honor is given annually only to a small percent of Realtors in the Richmond area, of which there are over four thousand! There are only a handful of Realtors who have reached this level of excellence on a continual basis and can only be attained through a deep sense of professionalism, knowledge, expertise and the desire to represent the best interests of his clients at all times. Bill was born in Charleston, SC and has been a resident of Chesterfield County since 1971 after moving from Delaware, and has two children and two grandchildren residing in the area. He received a degree from the University of Delaware, served as an officer in the U. S. Army in Europe and was a Federal Bank Examiner and Regional Financial Analyst for FDIC for ten years. He also had other business interests as well as investment real estate. Bill has concentrated in residential sales and has been Principal Broker of Virginia Real Estate since 1987. These past experiences have provided a solid background toward becoming one of the most successful Realtors in the area. Bill specializes in both new homes and previously-owned residential property and will be pleased to assist you
